🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz / 400 g) firm or extra-firm tofu, drained
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened plain plant-based yogurt (soy or coconut works well)
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (for cheesy flavor)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh chives or dill for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Crumble the Tofu
    • Use your hands or a fork to crumble the tofu into small, curd-like pieces in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add Flavorings
    • Add plant-based yogurt, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix Well
    • Stir everything together until evenly combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. Chill & Serve
    • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld (optional but recommended).
    • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
