Ingredients:
For the turkey patties:
- 500g ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp almond flour (or breadcrumbs if not keto)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the filling:
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1–2 jalapeños, finely chopped (remove seeds for less heat)
- 2 slices of cooked turkey bacon or regular bacon, crumbled (optional but delicious)
Toppings (optional):
- Lettuce, tomato slices, avocado, red onion rings
- Burger buns or lettuce wraps (for low-carb)
🔪 Instructions:
- Make the filling:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños, and bacon. Set aside. - Prepare the turkey mix:
In another bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. - Assemble burgers:
- Divide turkey mixture into 4 balls.
- Flatten each ball into a patty.
- Add a spoonful of the jalapeño filling in the center of two patties.
- Cover with another patty and seal the edges to form a stuffed burger.
- Cook:
- Grill or pan-fry burgers over medium heat for about 6–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
- Serve:
- Place on a bun or lettuce wrap, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
