1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
1 tablespoon ketchup (optional)
1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
Pickles (optional)
Lettuce (optional)
1 tablespoon butter for grilling
Instructions:
Cook the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the ground beef (or turkey), breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Remove from heat and set aside.
Assemble the Wraps:
Lay out your tortillas on a clean surface.
Divide the cooked beef mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each one.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef.
If desired, add ketchup, mustard, pickles, and lettuce for extra flavor and crunch.
Grill the Wraps:
Heat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add butter.
Once the butter is melted and the skillet is hot, place each wrap, seam side down, onto the pan. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted inside.
Serve:
Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before slicing into halves or quarters. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or ranch.
