Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)
- ½ tsp cumin (optional, for extra warmth)

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat dry the chickpeas using a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps them crisp up.
- Toss the chickpeas with olive oil and all the spices in a bowl until evenly coated.
- Spread them in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving. They will crisp up more as they cool.
Air Fryer Method:
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Air fry chickpeas for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
