Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta Bake
Ingredients:
– 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
– 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and make sure to grease a baking dish. Next, take a skillet and melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and let it cook for about 1 to 2 minutes until it becomes fragrant. Then, add the sour cream, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and the Italian seasoning, along with some salt and pepper to fit your taste buds. Let this mixture simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until it thickens into a nice creamy sauce.
Now it’s time to bring it all together. Mix the cooked pasta and shredded chicken into your sauce, ensuring everything is well coated. Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish. As the final touch before baking, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
