SIMPLE AF PORK CHOPS

Ingredients

  • 2 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: ½ tsp dried thyme or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Prep the Pork Chops:
    Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps them sear better and get crispy.
  2. Season:
    Drizzle the olive oil over both sides of the pork chops. Then sprinkle the garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and any optional herbs evenly on both sides. Rub in the spices to coat.
  3. Cook:
    • In a Skillet:
      Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the pork chops in and cook for about 3-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) for safe eating.
    • In an Air Fryer (Optional):
      Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Place the pork chops in a single layer in the basket and air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Rest and Serve:
    Remove the pork chops and let them rest for 5 minutes to keep them juicy. Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad.
