Ingredients:

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 small onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tbsp cornstarch
–
2 tbsp brown sugar
–
1/2 cup beef broth
–
2 tbsp vegetable oil
–
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
–
Optional: 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. Prepare the Sauce:

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, and beef broth. Set aside.
2. Cook the Steak:

Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the flank steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Sauté the Vegetables:

Add the remaining 1 tbsp of oil to the skillet.

Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the bell peppers and onion, cooking until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
4. Combine and Simmer:

Return the steak to the skillet.

Pour the sauce over the steak and vegetables, stirring to coat.

Optional: Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.

Let simmer until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Serve:
