Keto Peppermint Mousse Shooters

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered erythritol or another keto-friendly sweetener
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • Optional: crushed peppermint candies or sugar-free chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
    • Add the powdered erythritol, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract to the cream cheese. Beat until well combined.
  2. Whip the Cream:
    • In another bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  3. Combine:
    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined and smooth.
  4. Serve:
    • Spoon the mousse into small serving glasses or shot glasses.
    • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  5. Garnish (Optional):
    • Before serving, garnish with crushed peppermint candies or sugar-free chocolate shavings if desired.
