Vegan Apple Maple Bread
Ingredients
- 1/2 C. Vegan butter, room temperature I used Earth Balance
- 1/2 C. Maple syrup
- 1/2 C. Apple sauce
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 C. All purpose flour
- 2 tsp. Baking powder
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 tsp. Apple pie spice
- 1/4 C. Almond milk or non-dairy milk of choice
- 2 Large Apples, chopped I used Granny Smith
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. �
- In a large mixing bowl, using a hand mixer or stand mixer. Combine the vegan butter and maple syrup. �
- Now add the apple sauce and vanilla. Stir together until combined. �
- Now sift in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and apple pie spice. �
- Begin stirring and adding the almond milk at the same time. Stir scraping down the sides as needed until fully combined. �
- Now fold in the chopped apples. �
- Next, spray a bread pan with non stick spray. Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. �
- Let cool before slicing. Serve plain, with vegan butter and maple syrup or whatever your heart desires. It’s good bread, my friend.
