Keto Bacon Mac and Cheese Dog.. woooah!

Ingredients:-

For the Mac and Cheese:

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Bacon Mac and Cheese Dog:

  • 4 keto-friendly hot dogs or sausages
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
  • Chopped chives or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions:-

  1. Prepare the Cauliflower Mac and Cheese:
    • Steam or boil the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain well.
    • In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
    • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
    • Add the drained cauliflower to the cheese sauce, and stir to coat well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Keep warm.
  2. Cook the Hot Dogs:
    • Preheat your grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Wrap each hot dog with a slice of bacon, securing with toothpicks if needed.
    • Cook the bacon-wrapped hot dogs until the bacon is crispy and the hot dogs are heated through, turning occasionally to cook evenly.
  3. Assemble the Keto Bacon Mac and Cheese Dog:
    • Place each cooked hot dog in a keto-friendly bun or on a plate.
    • Spoon a generous amount of the cauliflower mac and cheese over each hot dog.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each hot dog.
    • Optionally, place under the broiler for a minute or two to melt and brown the cheese.
    • Garnish with chopped chives or green onions, if desired.
  4. Serve:
