Potato Lasagna with white sauce

Ingredients for Potato Lasagna with White Sauce600g potatoesSalt to taste1 package precooked lasagna pasta (500g)200 g sliced ham200g sliced mozzarella cheese50g grated parmesan cheeseWhite sauce3 tbsp (tablespoons) butter4 Tbsp wheat flour6 cups milk1 can heavy creamSalt, ground pepper and grated nutmeg to tasteDirectionsCook the potatoes in a pan with boiling water and salt for 5 minutes, drain, squeeze them, season with salt and set aside. For the sauce, in a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and fry the flour for 2 minutes, stirring. Add the milk, little by little, stirring until thickened. Mix in the heavy cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg. In a medium baking dish, alternate layers of sauce, pasta, mashed potatoes, ham, and cheese, ending with pasta and sauce. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and bake in a preheated medium oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, let it rest for 10 minutes and serve.
