MOJITO WATERMELON
Watermelon is perhaps my favorite thing about summer. When it comes to healthy eating, you can’t beat watermelon as a summer snack.
while plain watermelon is super delicious, this Mojito Watermelon is even more delicious and it just screams summer.
With all the flavor of of my favorite summer cocktail, there’s no better way to beat the summer heat. Mojito Watermelon is fabulously hydrating. With a high water content, plus minerals and natural sugars, watermelon is basically a natural sports drink.
Ingredients
- 1/2 watermelon
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Cut watermelon into wedges.
- In a small bowl, stir together lime juice, rum, sugar, lime zest, and mint.
- Pour over watermelon. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
