2 INGREDIENT DOUGH CINNAMON ROLLS – 1 SMARTPOINT (FREESTYLE)

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt

For the filling:

  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar substitute (to keep it low in points)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and non-fat Greek yogurt. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead it a few times until it becomes smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and brown sugar substitute for the filling.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  7. Starting from one of the long edges, roll the dough into a log.
  8. Cut the log into slices, each about 1 inch thick.
  9. Place the slices in the prepared baking dish, leaving a little space between each.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown.
  11. Allow the cinnamon rolls to cool slightly before serving.
