WW “GARLIC, ROSEMARY & LEMON OVEN FRIES

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium russet potatoes (or your preferred type of potato)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes, but leave the skin on for added fiber and flavor. Cut the potatoes into thin strips or wedges, similar to the shape of traditional french fries.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix the ingredients well.
  4. Add the potato strips to the bowl with the seasoning mixture. Toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  5. Spread the seasoned potato strips on a baking sheet in a single layer. Make sure not to overcrowd the fries, as this can prevent them from getting crispy.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the fries are golden brown and crispy. Be sure to flip them over halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  7. Remove the oven fries from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Enjoy your WW Garlic, Rosemary, and Lemon Oven Fries while they’re still warm. You can serve them with a side of your favorite dipping sauce, like low-fat ranch dressing or ketchup.
