Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (225g) spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add diced tomatoes (with their juices), dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well coated with the tomato sauce.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the spaghetti. Cover the skillet and let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Once the cheese is melted, remove from heat. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, and serve hot.

Old Bay Wings:

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds (about 900g) chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with Old Bay seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the seasoned wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve with lemon wedges on the side if desired.

Garlic Bread:

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of French bread, sliced lengthwise
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
  4. Optional: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the garlic butter.
  5. Place the prepared garlic bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy around the edges.
  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing….
