Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- If your air fryer requires preheating, start by preheating it.
- While the air fryer is preheating, pierce the sausages a few times with a fork. This helps prevent them from bursting during cooking.
- Once preheated, place the sausages in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure they’re not overcrowded to allow air circulation.
- If you prefer, you can lightly brush or spray the sausages with olive oil for added crispiness. This step is optional.
- Cook the sausages in the air fryer for about 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness and type of sausages you’re using.
- Check the internal temperature of the sausages using a meat thermometer. They should reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for pork sausages and 165°F (74°C) for chicken or turkey sausages.
- Once the sausages are cooked through and have a golden brown color, remove them from the air fryer.
- Let the sausages rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
