Ingredients:

  • Sausages of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. If your air fryer requires preheating, start by preheating it.
  3. While the air fryer is preheating, pierce the sausages a few times with a fork. This helps prevent them from bursting during cooking.
  4. Once preheated, place the sausages in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure they’re not overcrowded to allow air circulation.
  5. If you prefer, you can lightly brush or spray the sausages with olive oil for added crispiness. This step is optional.
  6. Cook the sausages in the air fryer for about 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness and type of sausages you’re using.
  7. Check the internal temperature of the sausages using a meat thermometer. They should reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for pork sausages and 165°F (74°C) for chicken or turkey sausages.
  8. Once the sausages are cooked through and have a golden brown color, remove them from the air fryer.
  9. Let the sausages rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
