KETO BISCUITS AND GRAVY

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, coconut flour, Parmesan cheese, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 8-10 biscuits.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  6. Allow the biscuits to cool slightly before serving.

Keto Gravy

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) breakfast sausage
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp almond flour
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken or beef broth (make sure it’s low-carb)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Stir in the almond flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until it starts to brown slightly.
  3. Gradually add the heavy cream and broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens, about 5-10 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and mix well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the gravy over the keto biscuits.
