Keto Baked Cheese Crackers
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cheese, almond flour, and optional seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika). Mix well.
- Add the egg and mix until a dough forms. The dough will be slightly sticky.
- Roll Out the Dough:
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out into a thin, even layer (about 1/8 inch thick).
- Cut the Crackers:
- Remove the top layer of parchment paper. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into small squares, about 1-inch in size.
- If desired, sprinkle a little extra salt on top of the crackers.
- Bake:
- Transfer the parchment paper with the cut crackers onto the baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy.
- Cool and Serve:
- Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
- Once cooled, break the crackers apart and enjoy!
Storage:
- Store the crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
