Keto Baked Cheese Crackers

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cheese, almond flour, and optional seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika). Mix well.
    • Add the egg and mix until a dough forms. The dough will be slightly sticky.
  3. Roll Out the Dough:
    • Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out into a thin, even layer (about 1/8 inch thick).
  4. Cut the Crackers:
    • Remove the top layer of parchment paper. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into small squares, about 1-inch in size.
    • If desired, sprinkle a little extra salt on top of the crackers.
  5. Bake:
    • Transfer the parchment paper with the cut crackers onto the baking sheet.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Cool and Serve:
    • Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
    • Once cooled, break the crackers apart and enjoy!

Storage:

  • Store the crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
