Home Made Pizza Chips.
Ingredients:
- 4 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or regular)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Tortillas:
- Brush each tortilla with olive oil on both sides.
- Cut into Chips:
- Stack the tortillas on top of each other and cut them into triangular chip shapes, like you would with a pizza.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet:
- Arrange the tortilla triangles on a baking sheet in a single layer, making sure they are not overlapping.
- Sprinkle Cheese and Seasonings:
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over the tortilla triangles.
- Sprinkle dried oregano and garlic powder over the cheese.
- Bake in the Oven:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted, and the edges of the tortillas are crispy and golden brown.
- Cool Slightly:
- Allow the pizza chips to cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with Pizza Sauce:
- While the chips are cooling, heat the pizza sauce in a small bowl for dipping.
- Enjoy:
- Serve the homemade pizza chips with the warm pizza sauce for dipping.
