Heaven In A bowl
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked shredded chicken (or any leftover protein of your choice)
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped spinach or kale
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
Instructions
- Prepare the Base
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
- Add the shredded chicken (or chosen protein) to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Create the Creamy Mixture
- In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if using) to the mixture.
- Combine and Melt
- Add the creamy mixture to the chicken in the pan. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly.
- Add spinach or kale and continue to cook until greens are wilted.
- Cheesy Finish
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the mixture. Cover and cook on low heat until the cheese melts and becomes gooey (1-2 minutes).
- Serve and Enjoy
- Scoop the mixture into a bowl, garnish with green onions, and serve hot.
Tips
- Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra freshness.
- For more texture, sprinkle some crushed pork rinds or toasted almond flour on top.
