Hamburger Casserole

1lb lean ground beef

1 Tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp sweet onion mustard (or Dijon)

1/2 tsp sugar free ketchup (or tomato paste)



1 egg

1/4c heavy whipping cream

3/4 cup grated cheddar

1 1/2 cups green beans canned or frozen

Grease 8” baking dish with olive oil. Set aside. Preheat oven 360F

Mix beef and seasonings including mustard and ketchup in bowl, combine well.

Heat oil I’ve oil in skillet, add beef mixture- brown completely and drain.

Pour meat mixture in prepared baking dish. Spread beans evenly over beef.

In separate bowl best egg, heavy whipping cream and a pinch of salt. Pour over meat mixture. Add grated cheddar and spread evenly.

Bake 20-30 min, until cheese is golden brown.


~to use ground pork in addition to beef

~try other veggies such as cauliflower, broccoli, peppers or onions.
