Gammon joint.. airfryed

Ingredients:
1 gammon joint (boneless or bone-in)
Olive oil or cooking spray
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional glaze (honey, brown sugar, mustard, or other preferred flavors)
Instructions:

Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
If your gammon joint is bone-in, you can trim excess fat from the surface, leaving a thin layer for flavor. If it’s boneless, you can skip this step.
Brush the gammon joint with a thin layer of olive oil or use a cooking spray. This will help it get crispy in the air fryer.
Season the gammon joint with salt and pepper. You can also add other seasonings or spices of your choice for extra flavor.
Place the gammon joint in the air fryer basket, making sure it’s not overcrowded. If necessary, you can cut it into smaller portions to fit your air fryer.
Air fry the gammon joint at 350°F (180°C) for about 20-25 minutes per pound (450g) of meat. This is a general guideline, so the cooking time may vary depending on your specific air fryer and the size of the gammon joint. To ensure it’s cooked through, use a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should reach 160°F (71°C).
If you want to add a glaze, you can do so during the last 5-10 minutes of cooking. Brush the gammon joint with your preferred glaze (e.g., a mixture of honey, brown sugar, and mustard) and allow it to caramelize in the air fryer.
Once the gammon joint reaches the desired temperature and has a crispy exterior, remove it from the air fryer.
Let the gammon joint rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute and ensures a juicy and flavorful result.
Enjoy your air-fried gammon joint as a main dish, and consider serving it with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
