Eggs cocotte in the Airfryer

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

2 eggs

4 tablespoons of crème fraîche (or liquid cream)

2 slices of ham (or 4 slices of chorizo, depending on your taste)

50 g of grated cheese (Emmental, Parmesan, Comté, etc.)

Salt, pepper

A pinch of nutmeg or Provencal herbs (optional)

Butter to grease the ramekins

Preparation

Prepare the ramekins:

Lightly butter 2 ramekins or small molds compatible with the Airfryer.

Place a tablespoon of crème fraîche in the bottom of each ramekin.

Add the toppings:

Cut the ham into small pieces (or use slices of chorizo) and divide them into the ramekins.

Sprinkle with grated cheese.

Add the eggs:

Crack an egg into each ramekin, making sure not to break the yolk.

Add a tablespoon of crème fraîche to each egg.

Season:

Add salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg or herbes de Provence to flavor.

Airfryer cooking:

Preheat your Airfryer to 180°C for 3 minutes.

Place the ramekins in the Airfryer bowl.

Cook at 180°C for 8 to 10 minutes, depending on the desired texture of the yolks (soft or well-cooked).

Enjoy:

Carefully remove the ramekins, let cool for a minute, then serve with a slice of toast or a green salad.

Tip:

For an even more indulgent treat, add sliced mushrooms, spinach, or a touch of grated truffle on top.
