Easy Coconut and Condensed Milk Dessert,

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups desiccated coconut
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruits (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Measure out the desiccated coconut and place it in a large mixing bowl.
    • If you’re using chopped nuts or dried fruits, prepare them by chopping into small pieces.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
    • Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the bowl with the desiccated coconut.
    • Add the vanilla extract if you’re using it.
    • Stir the mixture until the coconut is thoroughly coated with the condensed milk.
  3. Add Optional Ingredients:
    • If you’re using chopped nuts or dried fruits, fold them into the mixture until evenly distributed.
  4. Shape the Mixture:
    • Using a spoon or your hands, form the mixture into small balls or spoonfuls. You can also press it into a baking dish and cut it into squares later.
  5. Set the Dessert:
    • Place the shaped mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours until the dessert is firm and set.
  6. Serve:
    • Once set, remove from the refrigerator and serve.
    • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
