Brown Sugar and Beer Ham with Bourbon glaze

Brown Sugar Ham with Bourbon Glaze…sticky, sweet, and delicious! This easy ham recipe is perfect for holiday occasions!
Ingredients
- Ham with bone
- 4 cups of dark brown sugar, divided
- 4 bottles of beer
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- Instructions
- Put ham in deep roasting pan.
- Pat a thick layer of brown sugar on all sides, about 2 cups.
- Pour beer around ham.
- Cover with tin foil and bake at 325 for approximately 15 min per lb.
- One hour before end of baking, pour off all but 1 1/2″ of beer.
- In small saucepan, combine honey, mustard, the remaining 2 cups of brown sugar and bourbon.
- Whisk together and heat on low until brown sugar melts.
- Baste ham every 10 min with beer mixture from the bottom of the pan and then the bourbon glaze.
- Use all of the glaze before removing the ham.
- Slice and serve with sauce remaining in pan.
