Better Than Sex Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
  • 1 container (8 ounces) cool whip, thawed
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
    Instructions:
  1. Begin by finding yourself a large mixing bowl where all the ingredients will comfortably fit.
  2. Take the cherry pie filling and empty it into the bowl.
  3. Fold in the cool whip gently with the pie filling until they are well incorporated, being careful not to deflate the cool whip too much.
  4. Drain your can of crushed pineapple as thoroughly as possible; you want to minimize the amount of liquid so the salad doesn’t become runny. Add the drained pineapple to the bowl.
  5. Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and combine it with the other ingredients until you have a rich, cohesive mixture.
  6. Toss in the miniature marshmallows and stir them through the mixture so they’re evenly dispersed.
  7. If you’re using pecans, give them a rough chop and stir them in for some added crunch and nutty flavor.
  8. Once all the ingredients are mixed well together, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or better, overnight. This allows the flavors to meld and the marshmallows to soften slightly.
  9. Before serving, give the salad a gentle stir and scoop it into serving dishes. Top with more cherries (whole or chopped), if desired.
