Air Fryer Tortilla Apple Cinnamon

Ingredients:

  • 1 large apple (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar (optional)
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Apple Filling:
    • Peel, core, and dice the apple into small pieces.
    • In a bowl, mix the apple pieces with lemon juice, sugar, brown sugar (if using), and cinnamon until well coated.
  2. Assemble the Tortilla Wraps:
    • Lay out the tortillas and brush one side with melted butter.
    • Spoon the apple mixture onto the center of each tortilla, then fold the sides in and roll it up tightly, like a burrito.
    • Brush the outside of the wraps with melted butter.
  3. Air Fry the Tortilla Wraps:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
    • Place the wraps in the air fryer basket seam side down. Make sure they are not touching each other.
    • Air fry for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  4. Serve:
    • Let the wraps cool for a minute or two.
    • Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar, a drizzle of honey, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on the side.
