Air Fryer Tortilla Apple Cinnamon
Ingredients:
- 1 large apple (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons of butter (melted)
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar (optional)
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Apple Filling:
- Peel, core, and dice the apple into small pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the apple pieces with lemon juice, sugar, brown sugar (if using), and cinnamon until well coated.
- Assemble the Tortilla Wraps:
- Lay out the tortillas and brush one side with melted butter.
- Spoon the apple mixture onto the center of each tortilla, then fold the sides in and roll it up tightly, like a burrito.
- Brush the outside of the wraps with melted butter.
- Air Fry the Tortilla Wraps:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
- Place the wraps in the air fryer basket seam side down. Make sure they are not touching each other.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Serve:
- Let the wraps cool for a minute or two.
- Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar, a drizzle of honey, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on the side.
