Air Fryer Steaks with Garlic Butter

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless steaks (such as ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley) for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a few minutes.
  2. While the air fryer is heating, prepare the steaks. Brush each steak with olive oil and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the seasoned steaks in the preheated air fryer basket. Make sure to leave some space between them for proper air circulation. Cook them for your desired doneness (see cooking times below).
    • Rare: 8-10 minutes
    • Medium-Rare: 10-12 minutes
    • Medium: 12-14 minutes
    • Well-Done: 15-17 minutes
  4. While the steaks are cooking, prepare the garlic butter. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for a couple of minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant. Set the garlic butter aside.
  5. When the steaks are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes. This helps the juices redistribute for a juicier steak.
  6. Drizzle the garlic butter over the steaks while they’re still warm. You can also sprinkle fresh herbs on top for extra flavor and presentation.
  7. Serve your air fryer steaks with garlic butter alongside your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
  8. Enjoy your delicious air-fried steaks with garlic butter!..
