Air Fryer Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:

For the Pie Filling:

  • 1 15-ounce can of pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups evaporated milk or half-and-half

For the Pie Crust:

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

For the Topping (optional):

  • Whipped cream
  • Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). This might vary depending on your air fryer model, so consult the user manual for guidance.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves), and salt until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the evaporated milk or half-and-half and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  4. Place your pie crust into a pie dish that fits your air fryer basket. You may need to trim the crust to fit properly. Flute the edges or crimp them to create a decorative border.
  5. Carefully pour the pumpkin pie filling into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Place the pie dish in the air fryer basket. If your air fryer has a rack or trivet, you can use it to ensure even cooking.
  7. Cook the pie in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set, and the center is slightly jiggly but not liquidy. Cooking times can vary between air fryer models, so keep an eye on it.
  8. Once done, carefully remove the pie from the air fryer and let it cool to room temperature. Then, refrigerate it for a few hours or overnight to allow the pie to set.
  9. Before serving, you can add a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or nutmeg on top for extra flavor and presentation.
  10. Slice and enjoy your air fryer pumpkin pie!
