Air fryer poached eggs recipe


  • Eggs (as many as you want to poach)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Toast, avocado, hollandaise sauce, or any other toppings you like


  1. Preheat Your Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare Eggs: Crack each egg into a small bowl or ramekin. This will make it easier to transfer them into the air fryer.
  3. Poach Eggs: Lightly grease the air fryer basket or tray with cooking spray or a small amount of butter to prevent sticking. Carefully pour the cracked eggs into the basket or onto the tray, making sure they are spaced apart.
  4. Season: Season the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper, if desired.
  5. Air Fry: Place the basket or tray with the eggs into the preheated air fryer. Cook the eggs at 320°F (160°C) for 6-8 minutes, depending on how runny or set you prefer your yolks and whites.
  6. Check Doneness: After the cooking time, carefully remove the eggs from the air fryer using a spatula. Check the yolks to see if they are cooked to your liking. If they need more time, you can put them back into the air fryer for an additional minute or two.
  7. Serve: Once cooked to your preference, serve the poached eggs immediately. Enjoy them on their own, on top of toast, with avocado, or topped with hollandaise sauce for a classic Eggs Benedict…
