Air Fryer Pierogies
Ingredients:
- 1 package of frozen pierogies (about 12 pieces)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp onion powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings:
- Sour cream
- Chopped chives or green onions
- Crispy bacon bits
Instructions:
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for 3-5 minutes.
- Prepare the Pierogies:
- In a bowl, toss the frozen pierogies with olive oil or melted butter to coat them evenly.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper if desired for extra flavor.
- Air Fry the Pierogies:
- Arrange the pierogies in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if needed.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden and crispy on the outside.
- Serve:
- Remove the pierogies from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings like sour cream, chives, or bacon bits.
