Air Fryer Pierogies

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of frozen pierogies (about 12 pieces)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp onion powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings:
    • Sour cream
    • Chopped chives or green onions
    • Crispy bacon bits

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Pierogies:
    • In a bowl, toss the frozen pierogies with olive oil or melted butter to coat them evenly.
    • Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper if desired for extra flavor.
  3. Air Fry the Pierogies:
    • Arrange the pierogies in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if needed.
    • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden and crispy on the outside.
  4. Serve:
    • Remove the pierogies from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
    • Serve warm with your favorite toppings like sour cream, chives, or bacon bits.
