Air Fryer Lobster Tail

Ingredients:

  • Lobster tails
  • Butter or olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Thaw the lobster tails if they are frozen. You can do this by placing them in the refrigerator for several hours or by placing them in a sealed plastic bag and submerging them in cold water.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Using kitchen shears or a sharp knife, cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently spread the shell apart to expose the lobster meat, but don’t detach it completely.
  4. Place the lobster tails on a plate or tray, and brush the exposed meat with melted butter or olive oil. Drizzle a little lemon juice over them and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. You can adjust the seasonings to your taste.
  5. Place the lobster tails in the preheated air fryer basket, meat side up. Make sure they are not overcrowded to ensure even cooking.
  6. Cook the lobster tails in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8-12 minutes, depending on the size of the tails. The lobster meat should be opaque and white when done, and the shells may turn slightly red or orange.
  7. While the lobster tails are cooking, you can brush them with more butter or oil halfway through the cooking time for added flavor.
  8. Once the lobster tails are done, remove them from the air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately. You can serve them with extra lemon wedges for squeezing over the lobster meat…
