Ingredients:
- 4 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Then, brush the marinade over both sides of the fillets.
- Once the air fryer is preheated, place the cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching each other.
- Cook the cod fillets in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Check for doneness by inserting a fork into the thickest part of the fillet; it should flake easily and be opaque all the way through.
- Once cooked, remove the cod fillets from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
