- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or your preferred mix-ins)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Shape the Cookies:
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place them on a piece of parchment paper or a lightly greased air fryer basket. Leave some space between each cookie as they will spread slightly.
- Air Fry the Cookies:
- Air fry the cookies in batches at 320°F (160°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove the basket and let the cookies cool in the air fryer for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve:
- Enjoy your cookies warm, or store them in an airtight container for up to a week.
