Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
    • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  2. Shape the Cookies:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
    • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place them on a piece of parchment paper or a lightly greased air fryer basket. Leave some space between each cookie as they will spread slightly.
  3. Air Fry the Cookies:
    • Air fry the cookies in batches at 320°F (160°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
    • Remove the basket and let the cookies cool in the air fryer for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  4. Serve:
    • Enjoy your cookies warm, or store them in an airtight container for up to a week.
