Air Fryer Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of chicken tenders
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs (you can use regular or panko breadcrumbs)
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- Cooking spray or oil (for spraying or brushing the chicken tenders)
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes to ensure it’s hot when you start cooking.
- In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix these dry ingredients well.
- Pat the chicken tenders dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This will help the coating adhere better to the chicken.
- Dredge each chicken tender in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick.
- Place the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded to allow for proper air circulation.
- Lightly spray the chicken tenders with cooking spray or brush them with a small amount of oil. This will help them become crispy.
- Cook the chicken tenders in the preheated air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for about 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your chicken tenders and the specific air fryer model you’re using. The tenders should be golden brown and have an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve your air fryer chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce, such as barbecue sauce, honey mustard, or ranch dressing.
