Air Fryer Blueberry Roll-ups

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Blueberry Filling:
    • In a small bowl, mix the blueberries, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and lemon juice. Toss until the blueberries are well coated.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • Open the package of crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
    • On a clean surface, slightly flatten and stretch each triangle to make it a bit larger.
  3. Fill the Dough:
    • Place a spoonful of the blueberry mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
    • Carefully roll up the dough from the wide end to the point, encasing the blueberry filling inside. Tuck in the sides to help seal the filling.
  4. Air Fry:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
    • Place the blueberry roll-ups in the basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
    • Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the blueberry roll-ups to cool for a few minutes in the basket.
    • Remove them and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
    • Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.

Tips:

  • For a sweeter filling, you can add a bit more sugar to the blueberry mixture.
  • Ensure the roll-ups are sealed well to prevent the filling from leaking out during cooking.
  • You can experiment with other berries or a mix of fruits for different flavors.
