steak and kidney pie

Ingredients:
• 400g diced beef
• 200g lamb kidney, trimmed and chopped
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 tbsp flour
• 500ml beef stock
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• Shortcrust or puff pastry
• 1 egg (for brushing)
• Salt, pepper, oil
Instructions:
1. Sear beef and kidney in oil. Add onion, cook until soft.
2. Stir in flour, then stock and Worcestershire. Simmer 1 hour.
3. Cool mixture.
4. Line pie dish with pastry, fill, and cover with pastry lid.
5. Brush with egg. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30–35 min.
