Bareburger’s “Goin Back To Cauli”


Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced
    Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Slowly add the cold water to the flour mixture, whisking until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it is fully coated.
  5. Place the battered cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce and chopped kimchi.
  8. Once the cauliflower is done, transfer it to a large bowl and toss with the kimchi-BBQ sauce mixture.
  9. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and sliced jalapeno.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
