Decadent Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Truffles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup crushed Butterfinger bars
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup crushed toffee bits
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the crushed Butterfinger bars with the caramel sauce. Mix well until completely combined and set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat the whipping cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Fold in the crushed Butterfinger and caramel mixture into the melted chocolate until everything is well combined.
- Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. If using chopped nuts, fold them in as well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 30-60 minutes until firm enough to scoop.
- Once chilled, use a melon baller or your hands to form small truffle-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- After shaping the truffles, roll them in the crushed toffee bits for extra crunch and sweetness.
- Refrigerate the truffles again for about 15 minutes to set.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature, and enjoy your decadent treats!
