Decadent Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Truffles

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crushed Butterfinger bars
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed toffee bits
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

  • Instructions:
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the crushed Butterfinger bars with the caramel sauce. Mix well until completely combined and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the whipping cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Fold in the crushed Butterfinger and caramel mixture into the melted chocolate until everything is well combined.
  4. Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. If using chopped nuts, fold them in as well.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30-60 minutes until firm enough to scoop.
  6. Once chilled, use a melon baller or your hands to form small truffle-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. After shaping the truffles, roll them in the crushed toffee bits for extra crunch and sweetness.
  8. Refrigerate the truffles again for about 15 minutes to set.
  9. Serve chilled or at room temperature, and enjoy your decadent treats!
