Best Keto Steak Marinade Ever
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup of coconut aminos (a soy sauce alternative, low in carbs)
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 1/3 cup of fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce (look for a brand with no added sugar)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons of dried basil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of dried parsley flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the coconut aminos, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Coconut aminos are a keto-friendly alternative to soy sauce.
- Add the garlic powder, dried basil, and dried parsley flakes to the mixture.
- Season the marinade with salt and black pepper to your taste.
- Whisk all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
- Place your steak in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the keto-friendly marinade over it. Ensure the steak is well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, but preferably longer (up to 24 hours) for the best flavor.
- When you’re ready to cook the steak, remove it from the marinade and allow any excess marinade to drip off.
