Best Keto Steak Marinade Ever

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup of coconut aminos (a soy sauce alternative, low in carbs)
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1/3 cup of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce (look for a brand with no added sugar)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons of dried basil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of dried parsley flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the coconut aminos, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Coconut aminos are a keto-friendly alternative to soy sauce.
  2. Add the garlic powder, dried basil, and dried parsley flakes to the mixture.
  3. Season the marinade with salt and black pepper to your taste.
  4. Whisk all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
  5. Place your steak in a resealable bag or a shallow dish and pour the keto-friendly marinade over it. Ensure the steak is well coated.
  6. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, but preferably longer (up to 24 hours) for the best flavor.
  7. When you’re ready to cook the steak, remove it from the marinade and allow any excess marinade to drip off.
