5-Minute Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, sprinkles, or mini marshmallows

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pan:
    Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Melt the ingredients:
    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth (about 2-3 minutes total).
  3. Add vanilla:
    Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour into the pan:
    Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Add toppings (optional):
    Sprinkle your desired toppings (like nuts or marshmallows) over the top and gently press them into the fudge.
  6. Set and slice:
    Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until firm. Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
