WW BANANA ICECREAM

WW BANANA ICECREAM

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
  • Optional flavorings and toppings (see suggestions below)

Instructions:

  1. Start by preparing the bananas. Peel them, slice them into small chunks, and place them in a single layer on a tray or plate. Freeze the banana slices for a few hours or until they are completely frozen. It’s a good idea to keep frozen bananas on hand for a quick and healthy dessert.
  2. Once the bananas are frozen, transfer them to a food processor or a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend the frozen banana slices. Initially, they will look crumbly, but keep blending. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor as needed. Continue blending until the bananas turn creamy and smooth, resembling the texture of soft-serve ice cream.
  4. If you’d like to add flavorings or toppings, do so at this point. Here are some ideas:
    • For a classic banana flavor, you can simply add a dash of vanilla extract.
    • For a chocolate version, add unsweetened cocoa powder or a tablespoon of chocolate chips.
    • You can also add a spoonful of peanut butter or almond butter for a nutty flavor.
  5. Blend the banana ice cream with the added flavors until everything is well combined.
  6. Scoop the banana ice cream into bowls and serve immediately. It has a creamy texture and a sweet, natural banana flavor.

WW points will vary based on any additional ingredients you include, such as flavorings and toppings. Be mindful of the portion size and additional points if you’re following the WW program.
