Weight Watchers Shepherd’s Pie
Looking for a low calorie and low fat, lighter Shepherd’s Pie? This Weight Watchers Shepherds pie recipe is just as good as a traditional easy shepherds pie recipe but it is only 3 Weight Watchers Points.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground turkey breast
- 1 cup green beans
- 1 cup corn
- 1 1/2 cups Homemade Gravy 1 tablespoon butter 2 tablespoons flour, 1 chicken bouillon cube, and 2 cups water
- 1 package of cheese mashed potatoes made without butter
DIRECTIONS
- In a large skillet, brown ground turkey.
- Next, make the homemade gravy. In a saucepan, melt one tablespoon butter. Add in flour and cook until slightly brown.
- Dissolve the bouillon cube in 2 cups of hot water. Slowly add the water to the saucepan. Let thicken.
- Meanwhile, make the mashed potatoes according to the directions.
- Add green beans and corn. Mix in the gravy.
- Pour it into a 9*13 glass casserole dish. Add potatoes on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven or until bubbling and golden.
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes and enjoy. Makes 8 servings.
