Weight Watchers Shepherd’s Pie

Looking for a low calorie and low fat, lighter Shepherd’s Pie? This Weight Watchers Shepherds pie recipe is just as good as a traditional easy shepherds pie recipe but it is only 3 Weight Watchers Points.

INGREDIENTS  

  • 1 lb ground turkey breast
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 1/2 cups Homemade Gravy 1 tablespoon butter 2 tablespoons flour, 1 chicken bouillon cube, and 2 cups water
  • 1 package of cheese mashed potatoes made without butter

DIRECTIONS 

  • In a large skillet, brown ground turkey.
  • Next, make the homemade gravy. In a saucepan, melt one tablespoon butter. Add in flour and cook until slightly brown.
  • Dissolve the bouillon cube in 2 cups of hot water. Slowly add the water to the saucepan. Let thicken.
  • Meanwhile, make the mashed potatoes according to the directions.
  • Add green beans and corn. Mix in the gravy.
  • Pour it into a 9*13 glass casserole dish.  Add potatoes on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven or until bubbling and golden.
  • Let rest for 5-10 minutes and enjoy. Makes 8 servings.
