Weight Watchers Parmesan Baked Pork Chops
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 1/2 lbs)
- 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs, beaten
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, combine whole wheat breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Dip each pork chop into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s well-coated.
- Press the egg-coated pork chops into the breadcrumb mixture, making sure both sides are covered evenly.
- Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
