Weight Watchers Mini Doughnuts

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar (or a sugar substitute to reduce WW points)
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Cooking spray (or use an oil sprayer for fewer points)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini doughnut pan with cooking spray or use an oil sprayer for fewer points.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar (or sugar substitute).
  3. Add the warm water to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Carefully spoon the batter into the greased mini doughnut pan. Be sure not to overfill each well.
  5. Bake the mini doughnuts in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through. You can check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into one; it should come out clean.
  6. Remove the mini doughnuts from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. If desired, you can dust the cooled mini doughnuts with a light sprinkling of powdered sugar or a sugar substitute.
