Weight Watchers-Friendly Crack Cake

It’s been a little over a year, and my Crack Cake recipe is the most Googled recipe I’ve ever created. I want to thank everyone who took the time to check out my recipe & share it with their friends. I think it’s very popular because the cake is amazing! Plus, it’s very easy to make, like all of my recipes. So remember, this cake prepares you for greatness! In this article, we are just going to explain how to make a healthier version of crack cake and some tips that you can keep in mind to make sure your cake is absolutely perfect!

What I like most about this cake is the list of recipes. I admit I wasn’t positive how all of the substances interacted with each other, but I’m glad to say it turned out just well. I also like that my recipe calls for wine because I like to have a glass while cooking.

A lot of people have asked me if they can substitute the wine for water, and the answer is yes. Your cake may not be as flavorful, but it will definitely stay moist. The same goes for substituting wine in cake icing. You lose some flavor, but you’ll still have the same impact.

When preparing this recipe, keep in mind that this cake is very moist. I did it this way to give you a higher success rate of not having the cake sticking to the pan. I suggest using a 1/4 cup of oil if you’re serving the cake to guests and don’t want to risk it sticking to the pan. If you’re making the cake for your family, you can use 1/8 cup of oil to reduce the points.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar substitute (e.g., Stevia or Monk Fruit)
  • 1 package sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine (any kind)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (as a substitute for some of the oil)

Methods:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the above ingredients by hand or with a hand mixer.
  3. Grease a tubular container.
  4. Pour the batter into the mold.
  5. Bake for 1 hour.
  6. When the cake comes out of the oven, dissolve 1 stick of light butter in 1 cup of sugar substitute and 1/4 cup of wine.
  7. Pour the mixture over the hot cake.
  8. Spread it out of the mold onto a plate and serve it.
  9. Enjoy your guilt-free version of Crack Cake!
