Weight Watchers Blueberry Cream Cheese Danish

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8 oz) reduced-fat crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz light cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll package instructions.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened light cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
  5. Add a few fresh blueberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Roll up the crescent rolls starting from the wide end and place them on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the lemon zest and lemon juice. Brush this mixture lightly over the tops of the danishes.
  8. Bake according to the crescent roll package instructions or until the danishes are golden brown.
  9. Allow the danishes to cool slightly before serving.
