Weight Watchers Blueberry Cream Cheese Danish
Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 oz) reduced-fat crescent roll dough
- 4 oz light cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll package instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened light cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
- Add a few fresh blueberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Roll up the crescent rolls starting from the wide end and place them on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, mix together the lemon zest and lemon juice. Brush this mixture lightly over the tops of the danishes.
- Bake according to the crescent roll package instructions or until the danishes are golden brown.
- Allow the danishes to cool slightly before serving.
