vegan stuffed cabbage rolls
Ingredients
2 incredible burger patties or comparable
1 diced white onion
1 small head of cabbage
2 TBSP minced garlic
1 can of tomato paste
2 TBSP of ketchup
1 diced potato (or sweet potato)
¼ Oil (I used avocado)
2 TBSP Vegan Worcestershire sauce
Splash of apple cider vinegar
Salt, Pepper,
Preheat the oven to 350.
Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and find separate into as many rolls as you like. Rinse and pat dry. Dice approximately 1 cup of remaining cabbage. Sautee cabbage, onions, and potato in oil. Add two thawed incredible burger patties. Cook down into a ground “beef” consistency. Next, add the garlic, ketchup, tomato paste, a splash of vinegar, Worcestershire sauce…thin with water to get a nice paste consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare the dish/pan by putting a thin layer of sauce on the bottom. You can use tomato sauce if you don’t have enough sauce to go around. Add a scoop of mixture into the cabbage rolls. You can roll them up neat and tidy or just in a half-moon as I did (cause that’s my business…LOL). Bake covered with aluminum for 30 minutes and enjoy.
