Taco Cupcakesv

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional for topping)
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes (optional for topping)
  • 1/4 cup chopped lettuce (optional for topping)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add Seasoning: Stir in the taco seasoning and prepare according to the packet instructions (usually adding water and simmering).
  4. Prepare Muffin Pan: Lightly spray a muffin pan with cooking spray. Place one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, pressing down gently.
  5. Assemble Layers: Add a spoonful of the cooked taco meat into each wonton wrapper, followed by a sprinkle of cheese. Add another wonton wrapper on top of the cheese and press down lightly. Add more taco meat and cheese on top.
  6. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the wonton wrappers are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Top with salsa, sour cream, diced tomatoes, and lettuce if desired.
