Air Fryer Recipes

stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer

Ingredients:

  • 12-15 large mushrooms (Cremini or white mushrooms work well)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer basket

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for a few minutes.
  2. While the air fryer is heating up, clean the mushrooms and remove their stems. You can save the stems to use in the filling or discard them.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. If you saved the mushroom stems, finely chop them and add them to the mixture for extra flavor.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap with a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture. If desired, you can also sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each stuffed mushroom for a crispy texture.
  5. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other. You may need to cook them in batches if your air fryer is not large enough.
  7. Cook the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated air fryer for 8-10 minutes at 350°F (180°C) until they are golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  8. Check the mushrooms after 8 minutes. If they need a little more time, continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes. Cooking times may vary depending on the size and type of mushrooms, so keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
  9. Once done, carefully remove the stuffed mushrooms from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving.
  10. Serve your air-fried stuffed mushrooms hot as an appetizer or snack. You can garnish them with additional chopped parsley or grated Parmesan cheese, if desired….
